After successfully battling his URA debts, Nandos boss Amos Nzeyi is yet in another money battle with fellow businessman and partner Menna Tewahade. Nzeyi who also owns Mateos has been dragged to court for breaching contract in which he was supposed to buy out business partner Menna Tewahade and fully own Brood and Mateos.
According to Menna, Nzeyi opted to buy him out at a price of Ugx 900m. However, Menna claims that Nzeyi has since defaulted on the payment since 2009, a thing that forced Menna to file a case against his former business partner in the Commercial Court.
According to sources, Nzeyi, through his lawyers, denied ever agreeing to buy out Menna and that he just lent him the money as a friend and business partner when he was financially struggling and insists that they both still co-own Nandos.
The pair is still at loggerheads as they together choke on Brood and Mateos maintenance bills.
