Ugandan media personality Nancy Kacungira is flying high!
We have learnt that the former NTV news anchor has joined the BBC Focus on Africa team.
She made her debut on the African focused news programme on Monday evening. She could not hide her excitement about the new opportunity as she took to Twitter to announce her debut. She tweeted:
This Ugandan girl will be making her presenting debut on Focus on Africa @BBCWorld in a few minutes

Meanwhile, Kacungira joined the BBC team in June last year. This after she won the inaugural BBC Komla Dumor award for best journalist in Africa, an award that was formed in remembrance of the late Komla Dumor who worked for BBC Focus on Africa.
