Barely a year of hosting “Focus On Africa”,Nancy Kacungira has moved on from the show to start hosting “World News Today” still on BBC.
The former KTN news anchor announced the changes saying, “New month, new show, new challenge! I’m enjoying presenting #WorldNewsToday at 1900 GMT on weekdays over the summer. From North Korea to Iran to Zimbabwe and the US, the programme covers all the major global events”.
Nancy joined the London based channel in August last year and seems to be doing well. In 2005, Kacungira was awarded the BBC World News Komla Dumor Award for her exceptional talent in journalism.
