After being called out by Nameless for ‘disrespecting’ Wahu in his Bingwa Awards rant, Octopizzo has come out to clear the air about what he actually meant when he mentioned the Sweet Love singer on his controversial social media post.
In an interview with a local radio station and a subsequent post on social media, the Ivo Ivo Ivo hit-maker said that his issue was with the category he was nominated in-not Wahu or any other artist in the category.
The Kibra-born rapper, who has been accused of being arrogant for turning down the best Comeback Artiste of the Year accolade, said that he should not have been nominated in that category because has been active all through his career.
On the allegation that he had disrespected Wahu by mentioning her in his viral rant, Octopizzo said: “I respect Nameless and respect Wahu. I’ve been a fan since class 8 and still a fan. I will vote for Wahu any day; not only her but all the female artists out there. I’ll always fight for you Queens Beli’Dat!”
