She was announced alongside four others who included; Andruda Wamungu Victoria (P.7) from Kisubi Boys Primary School, Abigail Shalom(P.6) from Kamuli Church of Uganda Primary School, Nusurah Nasaka(P.5) from Emmanuel Junior Academy- Kinoni and Atusiimeire Eliane Baine(P.4) from Mbarara Junior school.

They were each rewarded with school fees amounting to USD 100.

The “My Super Lock Down Experience” challenge which was organized by Bic, a leading stationery brand,  was aimed at engaging the school going children in upper primary (P4-P7) to share their experience about the new normal caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As part of the challenge, the pupils were tasked to write a story explaining their learning, challenges and most importantly the effect it has had on them.

Over 150 entries from different pupils across the country  were received and it’s among these that the top five pupils were selected.

Richard Mugenyi, BIC’s Associate Sales Manager for Uganda, thanked the winners and also encouraged them once again to keep using Bic Crystal as they prepare to go back to school.
