Ugandan musicians love recognition, although some of them don’t work so hard for it.
News reaching us is that close to 400 videos have been submitted for the Club Music Video Awards (CMVAs) that will take place in March next year.
Word on the street is that all sorts of musicians who did a video this year for their songs have submitted that video and believe they will make it to the top four in each category.
First staged in 2013, the then CMVAs recognized the talent of musicians, achievers and personalities from across Uganda, rewarding iconic artists and game changers such as Amaru, Navio, GNL Zamba, Kino Musoke, Radio and Weasel and many more.
The two-month long campaign entails submission of entries, nominations, judging, voting and will culminate into the main event.
We will keep you posted.
