The once very popular music producers Nash Wonder and Derrick Pro can barely survive in Kampala we have learnt. The two once most sought after producers have been shunned by musicians lately for not having any hits on the scene in a long time.
First it was Derrick Pro, under Monster studios, who was on a production rampage as he produced hit after hit. If you remember the late AK 47’s Champion, you know what am talking about. After he threw in the towel, Nash Wonder was recruited to take over and surely he did not disappoint.
However, we have learnt that the once very popular producers are now starving with no clients. “Nash Wonder nawe yagwaamu,” one artiste who used to be his regular client said. Several other stars have shunned his new studio for lack of creativity lately.
Nash Wonder and Derrick Pro will need to work twice or thrice as hard to lure their erstwhile clients back.
