Bebe Cool recently penned a deal with some German agency in Uganda called Viva Con Agua Kampala also known as ‘We Love Uganda’ to hold a concert to raise money to do charity in some parts of northern Uganda.
The concert that is slated for next week on Saturday was meant to be graced by Bebe Cool, however, the organisers of the concert have decided to have other musicians on board and these include Lady Sylick, Silvestre and Abrams who were contacted later on.
The other artistes were informed that this is a charity concert and therefore were expected to come on board freely but they didn’t hesitate to turn down the deal until a consensus was reached that each of them would walk away with 500 dollars.
The major reason for having them on board was not only to entertain people that will come at National Theatre but to help them reach areas where their projects are being implemented indicating that this will encourage the community to appreciate the works of charity.
While chatting with Tim, one of the officials for the event from Germany at their hotel of residence in Ntinda, he indicated that they are on a drive to create impact with their talents and the strong relationship with Ugandans landed them in Kampala despite having a singer and writer among them with Kenyan origin known as Wangiru aka Onejiru Chandler from a music group known as sisters back in Germany.
