A few days after Red Banton, a renowned Ugandan musician who once had a chance to sing for Queen Elizabeth was arrested by the police for heavy intoxication, onlookers have gone ahead to predict he’s likely to die miserably.
Some people who were jazzing about Red Banton and another crying legend Maddox Sematimba said that the two were comparable, but said Red Banton is likely to have a miserable end of his life considering the kind of situation he is in now.
A few days ago, one paper in town pictured Red Banton seated down on the ground, in dust with tears rolling down his chin after he was arrested for being drunk.
It seems the ‘Sijakuva Kampala’ singer has done his best to revamp his music career but all in vain. He has therefore resorted to drinking his legs off and is on the verge of living to the other side of his revelation, ‘Kampala Eganye’.
