Musician Ragga Dee, real name Daniel Kazibwe, suffered a humiliating defeat in the recently concluded Kampala Mayoral elections, according to results announced today morning. Ragga Dee lost to the incumbent Erias Lukwago who garnered more than 75 percent of the vote.
Lukwago polled a total of 176,637 votes out of the 236, 353 total votes to beat NRM’s Ragga Dee who got 49,366 votes as DP’s Issa Kikungwe trailed with 7, 759 votes.
Lukwago has since been announced winner of the city mayoral race by Kampala district Returning officer Charles Ntege.
