Kenyan rapper Jackson Ngechu Makini aka CMB Prezzo will appear in court on July 21 to answer to two counts of assault and creating disturbance.
The My City My Town hit maker was arrested at Nyayo Estate in Embakasi, Nairobi on Saturday afternoon, after he was involved in some drama with a KQ pilot.
He is alleged to have threatened and slapped the pilot Stanley Kipchumba before his arrest.
Prezzo was locked up at Embakasi police station, but released on a police cash bail of Sh20,000 on Sunday evening.
Embakasi DCIO Ephantus Kimulwa confirmed that the rapper was in police custody and is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
