After denying it for almost one year, Tanzania’s Lady Jay Dee also known as Jide to her fans in Tanzania has finally come clean on divorce rumors.
Judith Wambura Mbibo accused her husband of mentally and physically abusing her during their marriage. Jay Dee was speaking to Tanzania’s Clouds Fm when she revealed that she is the one that wanted out of the marriage adding that she was no longer with the radio veteran.
The Yahaya singer has been fighting the allegations saying her marriage with Gabriel Fikirini Habash aka Kapteni was intact. Information had leaked out early last year that Gabriel who is a renown radio presenter had been offered a lucrative radio job in Nairobi which he had to turn down after Jay Dee gave her conditions.
Jide as she is popularly known is alleged to have threatened her husband with divorce if he took up the Nairobi radio job. Those rumors were to die but it is clear that this marriage has been rocky for quite a while now and she did a good job of concealing it, not anymore.
The singer released her new song Forever in Friday, the same day she revealed that she was divorcing her husband.
