Popular Kenyan musician turned politician Charles Njagua Kanyi alias Jaguar has landed in trouble yet again after a vehicle said to be his was involved in a hit and run incident in Nairobi.
police are currently pursuing a case, rather a car associated with Jaguar, who is seeking to become the next Starehe Member of Parliament that was involved in an minor accident in Nairobi’s South B estate on Thursday,13 July 2017. Jaguar’s vehicle, whose model has not yet been revealed allegedly hit a car belonging to one Rose Masomi before speeding off.
The hit and run incident was reported at the Industrial Area police station under OB number OB/41/13/2017.
Speaking to a local news site on phone, Rose said her vehicle was hit by Jaguar’s vehicle while on a campaign trail. “The driver was on phone when he hit me.The occupants of the car alighted holding walkie-talkies,” Masomi revealed.
“They immediately jumped back into their vehicle and drove off claiming they were busy.” Masomi added.
Police officers investigating the matter have summoned the Starehe MP aspirant who has not yet honored the call.
