Local musician Dorrys Mutahunga has lost her father.
According the folk singer and music teacher based in Western Uganda, his father, Mabanga Godfrey passed away on Sunday morning.
She announced her father’s death on social media where she posted: “The lord has called, the angels have beckoned, my father the great Painter and Artist the re known teacher and philosopher, the initiator of my career, my mother’.s husband my siblings dad Mr Mabanga Godfrey….Nyine obusasi bwingyi he slept away in my hands this morning. Daddy may the lord Judge you with mercy!”
Mabanga Godfrey was a lecturer at Bishop Stuart University, Mbarara and Chairman Mbarara District Land Board.
