Ugandan dancehall king, Ssula Ssebunnya Ssebyala also known as Daxx Kartel Omuryeerubah, has explained his feelings for fellow singers Irene Ntale of the Gyobera fame and Sheebah Karungi of Team No Sleep music group.
Speaking to our sources recently, the “Self-service” singer who sings and raps as if he is drunk on some local potent gin producing music that has left many Ugandans no choice but to support him, said that he is deeply in love with Irene Ntale. He also said that he has a different kind of love for Sheebah.
“I love Irene Ntale so much, that is not a secret,” Daxx started. “I also love Sheebah Karungi very much, but this is a workmate king of relationship. I did a song with her some time ago and we became close friends since then. Like I told you, Sheebah is just a friend and a fellow musician. There is nothing much between us apart from music,” he added.
The explanation comes amidst rumours that Daxx was ditched by his lover, Irene Ntale, after she discovered that he had a fling with the Ice cream singer months back during their “Self-Service” duet. Daxx denies ever tasting her ice cream and insists that his heart only beats for Ntale.
Although Ntale has denied ever dating Daxx Kartel several times, the latter insists that he knows her more than anyone else. It is on this premise that he recently revealed to us that Irene is not a virgin as she claims to be – How he got to know, we don’t know.
“I don’t know who Daxx Kartel is, I have neither talked nor met him,” Irene told BigEyeUg sources early this year at the height of rumours that the two had a serious thing going on.
