Singer Allan Toniks is sad and blue, as we speak, following his Big Brother Africa rejection. The singer who is known for Mba Nkumissinga song couldn’t believe it when he found out that he had been scrapped off the list of celebrities who will be gracing Big Brother Hot Shots this year. The show which starts in two weeks’ time will have two Ugandan representatives in the house.

Toniks who was sure of a place in the house had notified friends, family and even his landlord that he would not be around for next four years since he was going to be in South Africa.

Time came for the finalists to fly to South Africa for the final photos shoot which they did, Toniks kept languishing in town depressed and unhappy.

As has been the Big Brother tradition for years, housemates cannot be revealed until the launch night which is 7th September. Toniks rushed things and let the whole world know hence spoiling things for himself and getting the boot.

M-Net has confirmed that the 9th season of #BBA will be called Big Brother Africa: HOTSHOTS. The House mates, like BBA Amplified, BBA Stargame & BBA The Chase will stay in 2 separate houses. The producers said; “This season’s House mates have hidden talents, they adore the spotlight and will let nothing stand in their way of claiming fame & fortune.”

The show starts on 7 September, lasting 91 days, with the Final on 7 December 2014. It will again by hosted by Nigerian star IK Osakioduwa for the sixth time in a row.
