Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards (KTMA) 2015 went down on Saturday, June 13, at Milimani City Hall in Dar es Salaam where singer Ali Kiba won big to become the most decorated artiste of the ceremony.

Ali Kiba won accolades in five categories, outshining his main competition, Diamond Platnumz. The categories which the Mwana singer triumphed in include: Best Entertainer of the Year, Best Song of the Year (Mwana), Best Bongo Fleva Song Composer (Mwana), Artiste of the Year and Male artiste of the Year, 2015.

Diamond Platnumz walked home with one award, in Best Collaboration of the Year category for the song Kipi Sijaskia, featuring Professor Jay. The Nitampata Wapi singer led the nominations list with ten categories to his name, while his key opponent, Ali Kiba was nominated in seven categories.

The unfolding at KTMA 2015 could be painting a picture that Diamond is more of a darling abroad than home.
