Drama ensued in Mbale recently when music lovers who had paid for a show at Mbale’s hottest hangout, Thatch Garden went up in arms against the organizers over the Baala song.
According to our sources in Mbale, Daxx Kartel who was supposed to perform alongside Spice Diana and David Lutalo turned up late for the show causing fracas at the venue.
We have been told that the singer whose Baala song is still number one in the Eastern Uganda town had not showed up at the venue by 1 am yet revelers had been waiting since 10pm. At around mid-night, fans started demanding to see Daxx Kartel performing Baala. To their dismay, the singer was nowhere to be seen.
By 1 am they had already started throwing bottles on the stage and breaking up chairs. He later showed up and apologized to fans for being late. When the Baala song played, everyone went up on their feet dancing. We will keep you posted.
