His Excellence President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has congratulated the Uganda national football team, ‘The Cranes’ upon their 1-0 victory over Comoros on Saturday.
In a Tweet on his official twitter account, @KagutaMuseveni, the president said; “Congratulations to our Cranes for beating Comoros 1-0 in the AFCON Qualifiers! Uganda will continue to support you.”
Museveni funded the Cranes’ trip to Comoros with $210,000 and they are expected to return tomorrow evening aboard Kenyan Airways.
