Former Fufa president Lawrence Mulindwa was on Tuesday voted onto the Cecafa executive committee in an election conducted at Hill Park in Nairobi.
Twelve member countries took part in the elections with each voting once. Mulindwa, also a Fufa honorary president, polled twelve votes followed by Tariq Atta (Sudan) 10, Abdigani Said Arab (Somalia) 9 and Raoul Gisanura (Rwanda) 8 votes.

The election was presided over by Emmanuel Maradas from Fifa and witnessed by Magdi Shams Eldin and Caf’s Kalusha Bwalya.
Cecafa was conducting elections for four Executive committee members. Tanzania’s Eng. Leodgar Tenga still has two more years as a regional chairperson.
