A Makerere University babe known as Sheilah shocked Ugandans last week when she claimed that musician Bobi Wine had ballooned her and that her 6-year-old baby belonged to the Time Bomb singer.
Turns out Bobi didn’t take the allegations lightly as he came out clean about the issue and even ordered the chic off Facebook.
Sheila, a third year student at Makerere who now lives in Najjera shut down her page after alleged threats from the singer. “She posted the photos of herself and the kid on the page under her names and now when things got out of hand she closed it down,” said a source who has been following the story closely.
The MUK babe who was showing messages that she had allegedly exchanged with the singer to everyone who cared to see, also told friends that Bobi had promised her a big business that would help her make money to look after the child.
Bobi came out strongly against the claims calling them utter gibberish. In a post made on Facebook, the ghetto gladiator said that his wife doesn’t listen to any gossip and only listens to him.
“By the way my wife doesn’t listen to gossip. If it’s you she listens to and nobody else, if it’s your word that she takes and nobody else’s word, brother you’re damn lucky, you’re as lucky as I am,” Bobi said.
He later also added that this was orchestrated by people who have nothing to do but want to associate themselves with Bobi as a brand and use his name for evil.
“Because I am a celeb, everyone wants to use my name for their things. They all want to associate with us because of our status. Everything that has been said about me and that girl Sheila is not true and it makes me sick,” he said.
In January this year, Ugandans were shocked when a woman named Safina claimed that Bobi Wine had sired a child with her. According to Safina, she landed from the UK to give Bobi “his child”, an act that nearly ended his marriage to now pregnant wife, Barbie.
It was not until Bobi Wine secretly took the child for a DNA test to ascertain if he was the father that he found out the real truth. Safina wanted to use Bobi and give him a child that was not his. She later made a shocking confession where she revealed the true identity of her child’s father. She said that Simon was fathered by a music promoter in the UK.
The Time Bomb singer later demanded for an apology before offering Simon (the young innocent boy) a chance to live at his village home with all the other family kids.
His father, Mzee Kyagulanyi (God rest his soul in peace) was known to have a number of kids before he passed on recently.
