Raymond Mujuni Qatahar

Investigative journalist Raymond Mujuni Qatahar has spoken out on reports that he is leaving NTV Uganda.

This comes after online reports claimed that he was quitting the Serena-based station for the Kamwokya-based NBS TV. According to the reports, he is crossing over to allow him room to grow his journalism career.

Mujuni has denied the reports noting that he is currently on a month-long leave and categorically stated he will not discuss anything about his future until it ends.

“Officially on leave,” He said in a statement. “After covering S. Sudan & Kasese conflicts, Rwanda & Kenya elections, I was duly granted leave for 30 days, which I am currently taking. Any discussion about my future will happen then.”

Mujuni previously worked with Uganda Radio Network in Kampala before switching to TV.
