Kampala central MP Muhammed Nsereko was the difference yesterday at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole as the parliament XI thumped the cabinet XI by 3-0 in a curtain raiser match during the “Protect the Goal Campaign”.
As the ministries of Health, Education and Sports passed on their message to the youth about the killer HIV/AIDS, the NRM rebel MP marketed his footballing skills and potential as he dominated the curtain raiser match.
Nsereko proved his worth as he had no mercy for the Musevini’s cabinet when he scored a brace on the day.
Meanwhile, Uganda’s shirt 7 and legendary footballer, H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni showed off his juggling skills before kick-off as he launched the “Protect the Goal health Campaign” at the stadium.
“We have to safe guard our lives by living responsible life styles. HIV/Aids is a reality which we have to avoid at all cost”, the president told the throng at Namboole stadium.
