MTV VMAs 2017 nominees announced: Here’s the full list

The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards full list of nominees has been revealed.

Kendrick leads the pack with eight nominations total. This year’s ceremony will have a new, non-gendered Artist of the Year category—a combination of the former Best Female/Male Video awards—and an award for Best Fight Against the System, which recognizes videos that, according to a statement from MTV, “inspire viewers to stand up and fight injustice.”
