Last week at the MTV European Music Awards, Nigerian singer Wizkid managed to scoop two awards including Best African Act beating Tanzania’s singer Alikiba. However Alikiba’s fans were not happy with the results as they went ahead on thier soial media to claim how MTV had cheated thier artiste since they were leading in the number of votes on all voting platforms.
Yesterday MTV apologized to the fans saying they miss counted the votes and after rechecking the number of votes on thier website, they found out that Alikiba had actually won the award and later they gave it to him. through a statement on Alikiba’s Instagram, MTV wrote
