With a vision of changing the lives of Ugandans, MTN Uganda launched a lottery game three months ago where customers win daily airtime and cash ranging from 1million to 40million shillings.
So far over 30,000 customers have won airtime; while over 20 have won 1million shillings each and four (4) Ugandans have had their lives changed by the MTN Kaja Lottery where they won 10million shillings each. Christine Asiimwe a trader at Nakivubo is the latest on the winners’ scoreboard of 10million shillings.
All customers who play Kaja stand an equal chance of winning. Winners are notified by SMS while the big cash prize winners are contacted by the telephone number 0776 986 178.
“At the beginning of this year, I prayed to God for a miracle. I asked God to bless me with a lot money and also make my business grow; I am speechless right now because it feels like I am dreaming. MTN has just made my prayer come true. I actually had lost hope since the year is ending and I wasn’t seeing any change any time soon. I have been hearing about MTN Kaja on radio and I have also seen some winners on TV provoking me to subscribe to Kaja”, Christine Asiimwe said.
The MTN Acting Chief Marketing Officer Hazel Twesigye said Kaja lottery is open to all MTN customers and everyone who participates stands an equal chance of winning all prizes including the grand cash prize of 40 million shillings.
“We launched Kaja to enable our customers change their lives by winning free money through participating.To participate customers simply dial *178# and at 220 Ugx daily, they will be entered into a daily draw where they stand a chance to win lots of prizes like airtime and cash of up to 40million shillings. This product is one of the best products that MTN has offered to its customers because it’s easy to participate in and the outcome is really worth it,” She said. Twesigye encouraged customers to participate and try their luck because Kaja offers life- changing opportunities.
The Kaja game was launched on the 28th August 2014as a partnership between MTN Uganda and SMS2bet. Draws are conducted daily in which one MTN number is randomly drawn. Any customer who plays Kaja and whose mobile number constitutes 8 digits of the drawn number reading sequentially from right to left will win the grand prize of 40 million shillings. Any customer who matches 7 to 2 digits of the drawn number reading from right to left also wins one of the other different cash and airtime prizes
