“We are extremely proud of our momentous Social Media growth milestones. MTN continues to lead the delivery of a bold, new Digital World to our customers as we engage with them on a daily basis through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Instagram. Social Media has become such an integral part of our daily lives as people live-post what’s happening around them and how they feel about it, moment by moment. The future is definitely digital and MTN will be lead from the front.” said Ernst Fonternel, MTN’s Chief Marketing Officer.

During the party Ernst Fonternel thanked the enthusiastic social media fans for choosing to be part of the Yellow family and making MTN Uganda the most popular Ugandan brand on social media to date. While giving away the new MTN Smart phones and MTN P@ds he noted that it was not only as a token of MTN’s appreciation, but also a way of enabling the recipients an opportunity to continually engage with the brand through first hand experience of its latest and greatest MTN branded devices.
