Seasoned comedian Kato Lubwama who took oath for his new role as the Lubaga South Parliamentary representative yesterday has revealed his plans for his comedy career and time in Parliament.
Speaking to journalists yesterday, the new MP said that he will stay a comedian despite his new Political role. He also revealed that he hopes to return to comedy after his five years at Parliament.
“I am here to serve in Parliament. It’s not really a job I have to remain in my profession as a comedian because when I am done here in five years I will have to go back and do what I know best which is comedy,” he said.
Hon Lubwama bounced to Parliament after beating the Conservative Party (CP) president John Ken Lukyamuzi. He had held the position of Member of Parliament for 15 years.
