Radio told Peng Peng that from his experience with different types of music across the continent he has realized that Ugandan music is the best and no other music beats it.
“I will not criticize any Ugandan artiste because we are all Ugandans and we have tried our level best to build this Industry. Peng I have a question, when a Ugandan musician works with an international artiste people will start saying “Mpagila oyo he/she is international. Ugandans Ugandans Ugandans banange Peng we have a song with Wizkid and some projects with 2 face, Dbanj etc how come they are not the ones that won the Oscar but our own song corruption,” the Neera singer said.
He then noted that both Ugandan artistes and Nigerian artistes are good and that working together makes them better. He called on Ugandans to support and love their own. “The joy we feel working with them is the same joy a Nigerian man feels working with a Ugandan musician ffena twefula international so people should stop undermining Ugandan Music. We were nominated at the BET and OSCARS but that was our local Ugandan Music without collaborating with Nigerians I think we deserve credit ffetugamba Music we Uganda yasinga,” he added.
