Movit contributes UGX 100 Million towards Kampala City Festival

Movit Products Limited(MPL) has handed over a cheque worth Ugx 100 Million Shilllings to the Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) towards the upcoming Kampala City Festival. Receiving the cheque, KCCA Executive Director, Dr. Jennifer Musisi applauded MPL for their continued support towards the festival.

Kampala City Festival, now in its seventh year is the city’s biggest annual celebration in East-Africa and has distinguished itself as a signature brand that draws multitudes to Kampala every October.

Celebrated as the biggest street party in the region, it will be held on 2nd October this year bringing together people from across the city to exhibit culture, innovation, unity and social life.

It’s a highly anticipated moment for revellers to share, learn and network while acting as an economic engine for companies, organisations and small businesses to flourish.

Handing over Movit’s contribution, Director Business Growth, Public Relations Manager Movit Products Limited and The Marketing Manager guaranteed MPL’s continued support towards the festival and all other KCCA initiatives.

“Kampala is our city and our responsibility and as such Movit Products Limited is committed to supporting the activities and initiatives that will continue to keep the Kampala star shinning. The carnival provides a unique opportunity that as Movit we can use to make the City shine brighter and through our partnership, we promise the people of Kampla an exciting and memorable day,” Bruce Mpamizo the Director Business Growth at Movit re-echoed.

He further urged Ugandans to come in large numbers and celebrate Kampala city on 2nd of October 2018.
