For weeks now, word on the grapevine had it that renowned Jamaica Reggae band, Morgan Heritage was coming to Kampala. And it has now finally been confirmed.
The Morgan Heritage show was officially announced on Monday evening as the organisers of the concert finally unveiled the sponsors at a press conference held at Cooper Chimney restaurant, Lugogo.

Addressing the press, Buzz Events boss Julius Kyazze promised that his team will use state of the art equipment specially acquired for the concert from South Africa and Kenya.
He also revealed that the main opening act at the concert will be musician Jemere Morgan, son to Morgan Heritage’s Gramps Morgan. He further added that local artistes who will perform at the concert will be announced in due course.
Popular for songs like “A man is still man”, “Tell me how come”, “Ready Or Not”, and “Don’t Haffi dread” among others, Morgan Heritage will be performing in Uganda for the first time on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The concert will be sponsored by NBS TV, Galaxy FM, Africell Uganda and Bell Lager.
