Uganda Cranes have today reached the semi-finals of the 2015 CECAFA Senior challenge cup after defeating Malawi  2-0 at the National stadium in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia.

Cranes’ skipper and star player Farouk Miya and Express’ Ceaser Samson Okhuti netted in each half to seal a 2-0 victory against Malawi.

Miya gave Uganda the inspirational start they needed in today’s game when he netted in the 6th minute of the game while Okhuti scored just three minutes into the second half.

Uganda now advances to the semi-finals of the 38th edition of the regional tournament as they continue with their chase for the 14th crown of the annual tournament.
