Miss Uganda Leah Kagasa paid Huawei Uganda heads a courtesy visit on Tuesday aimed at commending Huawei on partnering with the Miss Uganda 2016 pageant. The reigning beauty queen came along with Sharita Maruti – Miss East, Ritah Mutoni – 2nd Runner up and Brenda Nanyonjo, CEO Kezzi Entertainment Ltd and Founder Miss Uganda Foundation.
After a tour of the Huawei Uganda offices, the ladies were taken through Huawei’s work ethic and among other key personalities met with Wang Hua, Deputy Managing Director – Huawei Technologies Uganda, Stanley Chyn, Managing Director – Huawei Technologies, Uganda, Ayo Sam Cris, Device Services Manager – Huawei Uganda, Alan Kyobe – PR Officer – Huawei Uganda and Patrick Tongyunpeng, PR Manager -Huawei Uganda.
Speaking during the visit, Sam Ayo, Device Service Manager, Huawei Uganda explained that Huawei is honoured to support Miss Uganda 2016 using the Huawei P9 phone. He explained that being a fashionable and trendy phone, the Huawei P9 is the perfect companion for Miss Uganda 2016.
Ayo mentioned that the Huawei P9 features two rear-facing camera lenses made in conjunction with Leica Camera AG, he noted that the P9 camera comes with more light and better clarity and better photo editing capacities that enable one to capture detailed high quality pictures both in good and low light conditions.
Miss Leah Kagasa, Miss Uganda 2016, who is the benefactor of a Huawei P9 commended the smartphone on its beautiful photography, storage capacity and easy to handle hardware.
Huawei Uganda contributed a sponsorship package of 20 Million Ushs worth P9 smartphones and cash towards the organization of the Miss Uganda 2016.
The theme for Miss Uganda 2016 is beauty with a purpose with an inclination to promoting agriculture as part of their agenda.
