During her weekly show on NTV Uganda, Sylvia Owori, a former Miss Uganda organiser spoke out on the chances of the newly crowned Miss Uganda Zahara Mohammed Nakiyaga in the Miss world pageant where she is set to represent Uganda.
During her Style Project show, Owori said: “Yes she is beautiful, but with her facial features, she doesn’t stand a chance at Miss World. She has a round face and that is not what they look for.”
She later went ahead to blast the current Miss Uganda organisers for shortlisting Aisha Nabukeera, who has a visibly scared body, among the contestants.
“They took advantage of Aisha, they falsely hyped her hopes, yet they knew she couldn’t take the crown, which is a bad thing,” Owori said.
Also her co-host Kleith Kyatuhaire added, “I read the Miss World rules somewhere and one of the prerequisites is that you must have a flawless skin, but then we had Aisha Nabukeera with her scars.”
