The Miss Uganda Foundation, in collaboration with StarTimes Uganda, has officially launched the 2024 edition of the Miss Uganda beauty pageant.

The glamorous event took place at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala, setting the stage for a journey to discover the epitome of “True Ugandan Beauty.”

With the theme “True Ugandan Beauty,” the search aims to celebrate the unique culture and charm of Ugandan girls aged between 18 and 25 from across the nation. This year’s pageant promises to showcase the diversity and elegance of Ugandan women on a national platform.

Miss Uganda 2024 will be more than just a beauty pageant; it will be an entertainment extravaganza as the journey to the crown unfolds through “Journey to the Crown Season 2.”

This reality TV show will be broadcasted on Makula KiKa TV, with reruns on Makula Kazannyo Ku Kazannyo TV every Friday to Sunday at 8 PM. The exclusive coverage extends to StarTimes platforms, including the StarTimes ON App, ensuring wider access to viewers across the country.

The show will provide viewers with a comprehensive look at the Miss Uganda pageant activities over the past decade.

From the nationwide search for contestants to the regional auditions and national selections, the audience will be immersed in the excitement and drama of the competition.

The journey will include residential boot camps, beauty and fashion contests, beach beauty and sports challenges, adventure, and talent contests. Audiences can also anticipate periodic evictions, confession sessions, audience interactivity, and, ultimately, the crowning ceremony at the grand finale.

The Miss Uganda 2024 activities are scheduled to span thirteen weeks, beginning from May 10th and concluding in August 2024. Makula KiKa TV will air the packaged content three times a week, providing real-time updates and insights into the pageant journey.

Kenneth Kazooba, Vice President of StarTimes, expressed pride in partnering with Miss Uganda Foundation to showcase the true essence of Ugandan beauty to the world.

He emphasized the importance of celebrating Ugandan excellence and providing a platform for local talent to shine.

Launched on October 2nd, 2023, Makula KiKa TV offers a diverse range of local entertainment, catering to the tastes of Ugandan audiences across satellite, antenna decoder, and mobile app platforms.
