Miss Uganda 2023 finalists to be unveiled this weekend

The search for Miss Uganda 2023 is proceeding to the next phase following successful auditions from the 6 regions of the country.

This Saturday 18th Feb, 2023, the best contestants from all the different regions will be unveiled to the public at Kampala Serena Hotel in an event dubbed “Presentation Night. At this stage, the contestants will head to boot camp where they will spend 1 month of orientation and training before the grand finale.

A total of 470 contestants from across the country participated in the auditions; out of these only 20 contestants made it to the final list that will be presented to the public tomorrow ahead of boot camp.

Just like the previous seasons, Kampala registered the highest number of participants – 120 compared to other upcountry regions. To make it to the finals, girls were evaluated based on self expression, personality, intellect and physical looks. Contestant who excelled in the fields of Business ideas / Proposal and unique talent such singing had an added advantage. At this stage, the competition will get more stiff and the search criteria will get broader.

Miss Uganda is also airing as a reality TV show on Makula TV every Friday at 8:50 PM and on Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 PM.
