Miss Uganda 2016 finalists were unveiled on Thursday evening at a cocktail event held at the Kampala Serena hotel.
The 21 girls who will compete for the ultimate Miss Uganda crown showcased their cat-walking skills as they hit the runaway in different attire one by one as they were unveiled.
Speaking at the unveiling event, Kezzi Entertainment boss Brenda Nanyonjo said this year’s theme is “beauty with a purpose; promoting a beautiful Uganda through innovativeness”.
Among the guests was city socialite Anitah Fabiola, who is a former Miss Uganda contestant, BBS TV CEO Joe Kigozi and other Miss Uganda queens from past years.
Miss Uganda grand finale will be held at the Kampala Serena hotel on 15th October 2016 and the winner will represent Uganda at the Miss World pageant which will take place in Washington DC.
