The search for the 2017/18 Miss Tourism Uganda beauty queen has commenced.
The organisers of the beauty pageant kicked off regional tours recently with three beauty queens already crowned.
The regional tours started in Busoga region, then headed to Rwenzori region and last weekend the search was taken to West Nile region.
In Busoga region, Nabirye Shakira, 24, from Butembe chiefdom was crowned queen while Namulondo Rashida Muhamad, and Nakimuli Mary were first and second runner up respectively.
In West Nile, Vibian Silivano Shana, 23, from Koboko district emerged winner with Jokudu Gertrude from Moyo coming second and Bako Shamim from Yumbe in third place.
Miss Tourism Rwenzori Region crown was won by Biira Doreen, 23, from Kasese District. The first Runner Up was Biira Mackline, and second Runner up was Nakalema Mary.
The regional queens and ambassadors will represent their regions at the national level.
The Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale will be held on Saturday, October 21 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
