The search for the next Miss Tourism Uganda kicked off last week in Karamoja region where Aleper Pamela beat 7 other contestants to take Miss Tourism Karamoja crown.
The next stop will be Kasese this weekend where the search for Miss Tourism Rwenzori will be taking place for the first time.
The crowning of Miss Tourism Rwenzori which will take place this Saturday at Trans African Gardens Hotel in Kasese will have 10 contestants vying for the crown.
Among what takes it for one to be crowned Miss Tourism is the knowledge about Uganda and their region’s tourism. The beauty Queens are always tasked by the judges to come up with creative designs that represent their regions, the pageant is meant for girls aged 18 to 29 years old.
At the end of the search which will cover 12 regions in the country, the overall winner will be crowned in a grand finale which will take place in September at Hotel Africana.
