Amanya Melissa is the new Miss Tourism Kigezi.
The 20-year-old beauty queen from Kanungu district won the coveted crown at an event held at White Horse inn in Kabale district over the weekend. Natukunda Fortunate, 22, from Kisoro district was the first runner-up and Birungi Janat, 22, from Kabale district was the second runner-up.
The event was graced by the State Minister for Tourism, Hon. Kiwanda Godfrey who praised the region for being the best tourism destination in the country.
