It was a night to remember for Ayebare Anita as she was crowned Miss Tourism Ankole in a ceremony held at Lake View Hotel in Mbarara on Saturday. Tumuhimbise Rita and Nagasha Deborah were the first and second runner-up respectively.
“The region is privileged to have a bright and beautiful girl who is a true definition of Ankole and I am sure she is going to bring the crown back home,” said Tom Katsyamira, cordinator Miss Tourism Ankole.
The regional search for Miss Tourism is coming to with just one region remaining. The beauty queens will then head for a national boot camp in Kalangala ahead of the Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale to be held at Kampala Serena hotel.
