The long awaited launch of the 2013 edition of Miss Tourism Uganda took place on Tuesday, July 30, in Kampala at Tamarai restaurant.
Miss Tourism Uganda has existed since the 1980’s and the pageant is among the most extensive pageantry effort in promoting the nation’s tourism industry as it enables the country to reveal to the world its many beautiful facets and tourist attractions.
It is also to serve as a platform to educate and promote tourism and cultural exchange among the participating beauty queens, from across the regions of Uganda.
The panel will be looking for a single beautiful Ugandan woman aged between 18 and 29, one that is proud of her country and of who she is.
The date and venue for crowing the winner will be announced very soon
