Miss Rwanda, Doriane Kundwa has hit back in an exclusive phone interview with BigEye.ug. The Rwandan girl who’s charmed hearts of many claims Ugandan thieves are trying to steal her and claim her after seeing her reach the peak of beauty.
“I am not Ugandan, not even by an inch. The only thing Ugandan about me, let me see, ummmmm, I think, wait a minute, ummmmmm… There’s nothing Ugandan about me or even in me. Those are rumours being spread by Ugandan thieves, they want to steal me. I have not even been to Uganda, may be in the dreams of Ugandan men. I am Rwandan. When I wake up every day, I see nothing Ugandan about me, all I see is Rwanda, Rwandan beauty, Rwandan blood, Rwanda skin tone, Rwandan accent, Rwandan character. For you, do you see anything that’s Ugandan on me? Please tell me, please do. Ndashaka to tell you that I am 200% Rwandan. I am from the Northern Province. I can’t even date a Ugandan man, they are steal hearts.”
Tasked to explain whether her real name is Mirembe as alleged; “Non, c’est tres impossible. Je ne suis pas Mirembe. Moi, Je m’apelle Doriane Nkundwa. J’habite au Rwanda. Je suis Rwandaise.”
Asked whether she’s ever tasted a rolex and to respond to claims that she’s a musoga from Bugembe, Jinja, Doriane hit back: “Hahahahahha that’s funny. Hahahahahahaha the only rolex I know is a watch, I bought one for my boyfriend on Valentine’s day as a gift. What’s Jinja? Is that a river in Dortmund?”

She insists; “If Ugandans think I am Ugandan, let them come we do a DNA test and really see whether there’s any percentage of me that’s Ugandan. Ohhhhh naïve Ugandans, who’s bewitched you?” Kundwa asked with sarcasm.
