Mirinda Miss Teen organisers have finally made good on their promise of awarding the 2015 winners school fees for one year.
Vanessa Nansove from St Joseph’s Girls Secondary School Nsambya beat 14 other girls to be crowned Mirinda Miss Teen 2015. The 1st and 2nd runner up were Budesian Kyagera from Rubaga Girls School and Sandra Murungi from Eden International School in Mbarara respectively.
The winners had a luncheon at the Kampala Sheraton hotel where they were handed their school fees for one year. The winner got Shs 2 million, the 1st and 2nd runner up got 1.5 million and 1.2 million respectively. The money was handed to them by Mirinda Brand Manager Ms Berna Kizza.
“Miss Teen is an exciting competition which has lots of great talent in Music, art and fashion,Every year, we pledge to give the winners school fees for a year and we have managed to stay true to our promise,” Ms. Kizza said.
