Rapper Gravity Omutujju has publicly expressed doubts about the success of Mikie Wine’s upcoming concert.
In a statement to journalists, Omutujju suggested that Mikie Wine’s prolonged absence from the music scene makes it unlikely that his concert will succeed.
“Why would his concert be successful? His case is self-explanatory. You cannot spend all that time inactive in music and wake up to stage a concert against me,” Omutujju remarked as he addressed the media.
The tension between the two musicians has escalated following Mikie Wine’s decision to schedule his concert on the same day as Omutujju’s.
Omutujju also criticized Mikie Wine and his associates, implying that their involvement in politics often garners them sympathy rather than genuine support.
“Him and his brothers are always political and looking for sympathy,” Omutujju added.
This friction is not entirely new, as Omutujju has previously clashed with Mikie Wine’s elder brother, Bobi Wine, who is both a singer and a politician.
This history of conflict seems to fuel Omutujju’s lack of confidence in Mikie Wine’s ability to draw a crowd for his concert.
