Singer Mikie Wine has opened up about the ordeal he faced during a concert in Busula, Luwero, over the weekend.

According to Mikie Wine, a certain DJ advertised him as a performer at the event without his consent.

When he and his team noticed the poster, they threatened to publicly denounce it on social media.

This prompted the organiser to rush and meet the singer in person.

Mikie Wine explained that he pardoned the organiser after discussions and advised him to always follow the proper procedure of booking an artist before making any advertisements.

The organiser agreed and the matter was settled.

However, challenges arose in the days leading to the concert.

The organiser reportedly stopped answering calls from Mikie Wine’s team, only resurfacing at the time of the show.

This communication breakdown caused chaos and confusion at the event.

Mikie Wine expressed disappointment in how the situation was handled, stressing the need for organisers to respect artists and maintain professionalism in event planning.
