Mikie Wine Displeased with Cindy Sanyu Over Concert Date Clash with Brother Dax Vibez

Musician Mikie Wine has voiced his disappointment toward fellow artist Cindy Sanyu after she announced her concert on the same date as his younger brother, Dax Vibez.

Dax Vibez, born Ivan Bugembe Sentamu, had earlier announced his debut concert set to take place this year. However, just days ago, Cindy Sanyu revealed plans to hold her own concert on the same day at Millennial Park—creating a direct scheduling conflict.

In a recent interview, Mikie Wine, a vocal supporter of his brother’s budding music career, expressed his discontent with the decision.

While he emphasized that there is no personal animosity, he criticized the trend of artists staging events on overlapping dates, noting that it creates unnecessary division among fans and makes it difficult for audiences to choose which show to attend.

“I cannot be happy with any artist putting a concert on the same date as my brother, but these things happen,” Mikie said. “A person will not give you what you give them in return. I want Dax to trust and believe in himself. There is a reason he chose that date, and God will show that it was meant for him. I know he will win.”

Mikie Wine reaffirmed his full support for Dax Vibez, stating that he plans to attend his brother’s show and has been closely involved in his musical journey. “Personally, I will go to Dax’s show because he told me earlier. I have been helping him as a brother and I support his hustle and career because he has done good music. He deserves to be appreciated.”
