Uganda Cranes will entertain Sudan in the third round and final bend of the Africa Nations Championship qualifiers (CHAN) at Nakivubo Stadium next weekend.
The squad composed of local based players this week started preparations that included non-residential training at the Kampala Rugby grounds (Legends, Lugogo) and gym work ahead of the clash that is due next weekend.
Cranes head coach Milutin Micho Sedrojevic has tasked the lads to get the job done at home to avoid any possible upsets.
“It is important to complete the job at Nakivubo stadium. I believe you have the confidence to do the needful by knocking out Sudan,” the Serbian remarked.
Yesterday being a public holiday (Independence Day), the 25-man squad was given a rest before resuming training early today at Nakivubo.
Uganda and Sudan will play over two legs and the aggregate victor will earn a spot to play in the 2016 CHAN finals that will be played in Butale, Kigali, Rwanda.
