Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic has moved to strongly dismiss allegations that he is a player agent.
The Serb comes out after allegations circulated in Uganda that he sells players on top of his coaching role.
Some have even claimed that Micho is favouring some players in the national team and the allegations have not gone down well with the man who replaced Scot Bobby Williamson in May.
“That is total nonsense,” Micho told SuperSport.com, adding, “The players have their own agents. I have never forced any player to sign for anyone but using my connections in the football world, I’m ready to help connect any Ugandan player.”
“Look, I have worked with Dennis Onyango before and I respect him so much but I chose Odongkara on merit because he was playing competitive football with his club St George and he was doing so well, same for every other player I pick. I pick them on merit.”

Micho added: “Of course I’m not (a player agent). It is impossible. You can’t be coach and a player agent.” Actually, Fifa’s list of agents does not include Micho, neither does the licensed list from his mother country, Serbia.
Section 2 of Article 6 on the prerequisites for player agent application in the Fifa Statutes states that “an applicant may not, under any circumstances, hold a position as an official, employee, etc, at Fifa, a confederation, an association, a league, a club or any organization connected with such organizations and entities.”
