Ugandan female rapper, Keko, who is 28 years old has said that she messed up her life with drugs as soon as she left campus. While revealing how she used to consume drugs  almost every day that ruined her career and some parts of her body, Keko said that she believes the time after campus that she had to herself was misused.

“Unfortunately I now believe that I made wrong choices and bad groups as friends after campus. Fame can be horrible when it gets to your head. For now I want to lead a private life and lend a hand to those who are struggling with drugs,” she said in an interview.

The Tororo girls OG says that she would drink, and smoke before and during live performances due to lack of self-esteem and confidence.

Her turning point came in late 2014 when she was returned from South Africa and checked into her place in Kiwatule. She was saved by one of her managers and next thing she knew, she was in hospital where she was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder which is a mental illness. Luckily for her, all is going well now.

We will keep you posted.
